visited grandpa today.
grandpa will be having a major operation tomorrow.
as we were all hoping that there was something the doctor could do.
praying for miracles.
grandpa said,

67years ago today,
he was released from the japanese's.
he bought himself a ring after he was released.
as to mark that day as a memorial day.
67years after that day,
another memorial day in his life.
as tomorrow will be a tug-of-war between him and himself.
12th:
visited grandpa again,
it's D-Day.
the doctors said grandpa's situation was much worse.
extensive, massive were the words.
words which were simple but heavy.
grandpa was located in the ICU.
Intensive Care Unit,
which is always shown on television.
a place where you can hear the machines ticking,
air pressure,
heart beat.
i saw my grandpa lying there,
under a pink blanket,
sustaining life on a machine,
breathing through a machine,
when breathing is the basic characteristic of LIFE.
he wasn't able to do that by himself.
grandpa looked fragile on that bed.
